The Chamber’s 13th Annual Cancer Walk on October 17th will pay honor to two of our youngsters in our community who are currently in the battles of fighting cancer. Aubrey Longoria and Lilly Martinez are the strong warriors who will be honored at the start of the walk. The Chamber office invites the community to join in this support of these two young ladies. Even though October has been known for breast cancer, our walk considers all cancers. And the partnership that we have with S. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is one we hold dear to our hearts because we believe that the research being done for the cures of childhood cancer will no doubt have an impact on adult cancers as well. We will be doing a balloon release after the walk for people to pay tribute to loved ones who are in treatment, who are survivors, and those who have passed on.
